Classes and Age Groups:
 

• Mixed Class: Co-ed classes, available for both adults (18+ years) and teens (13+ years).

• Children’s Program: Currently not available.

• Visitors: Visitors from other schools/teams from out of town are always welcome!

One week Free Trial (first week):

• Free Trial: A one-week free trial is available to all interested in joining as a member.

• Liability Waiver: Must be completed before participating in any class.

• Borrowing a Uniform: Uniforms can be borrowed during the free trial week at no cost to you.

Joining after your Free Trial (second and third week):

• Ontario Jiu Jitsu Association (OJA) Membership: Required annually for insurance purposes.

• Insurance Coverage: OJA membership provides insurance for participation in sanctioned Ontario Jiu Jitsu activities and events, such as our classes and tournaments.

• OJA Membership Annual Cost: Approximately $40, including taxes.

• Uniform: Required for class participation.

• Uniform Cost: Approximately $160, including taxes (available through our store).

• Alcateia BJJ Patch: Must be worn on the back of the uniform by members.

• Patch Cost: Approximately $28, including taxes.

• Uniform Policy: Uniforms representing other Jiu Jitsu teams are not permitted (only allowed for drop-in visitors representing their home school/team).

Membership Plans and Payment (fourth week onward):

• Payment Frequency: Biweekly.

• Recurring Payments: Suggested, done via credit card.

• Manual Payments: Also available via cash or E-transfer

• Membership Rates: The standard plan starts at $37.99 plus HST biweekly.

• Discount Options: Available for CrossFit Belleville members, first responders, active military, and families (multiple members from the same household joining together and looking to save).

• Flexible Plan: Three classes bi-weekly option is also available for busy lifestyles and shift workers.

• Private Lessons: Available for one or two people with the professor for regular full-time members only.

• Account Management: Control your online student account, activating or pausing your membership subscriptions and monitor your account status. There are no long term contracts and no penalties for pausing or cancelling your membership.
